How it works

Content management - Mediawiki
Mediawiki is the software that runs Wikipedia. It does the same kind of thing as Wordpress and Laravel. It allows me to use a fancy tool to create and edit web pages. It can be extended so that we can add the interactive features that are unique to SQLzoo.
On the positive side:
- It works at scale - we know this because Wikipedia
- It is customisable
- It has a large support community
- It is free
On the negative side:
- It uses php
- It is expensive (in terms of CPU usage)
